bloom, decay, renewal
My current photographic series explores the relationship between natural forms, and the subtle thresholds where things change shape. Abstract, poetic images of petals suspended in luminous space, between movement and stillness, light and shadow, fragility and resilience.
They are space for contemplation: An invitation to lean into the polarizing forces of transformation, into the moment when something fleeting reveals its essence. For me, the Sacred lives in these moments. It is, simply put, what keeps us connected to what is true.
Emerging from a period marked by loss, this series suggests that beauty is not ornamental but life-giving - a way of remembering devotion, surrender and grace during times of transition. Turning toward the cyclical - bloom, decay, renewal – it is reflecting on how the natural world continues to o er orientation and belonging when familiar structures dissolve.
